Mon Drishta

This blog is created to post observations, thoughts, sights and writings reflecting the human experience of a boy who grew up in Doon valley , India. "Himalayas in the North, the Shivalik Mountain Range in the South, the River Ganges in the East, and the river Yamuna on the West". A unique cradle for the mischief of a young inquisitive mind.
The Blog name "Drishta" in Sanskrit means an observer like a sage sitting on a mountain top just observing, analyzing and recording without the active involvement of the self. I searched for the manifestation in human psyche of a physical tool for a symbol of "Mon Drishta ". An eye that could truly represent an observation post with super natural intellect of heart and mind , yet remain detached from the active involvement of the body and soul. I did find one after many frustrating and demoralizing searches.

Acknowledgment of the "Eye";
Diane Rollins Feissel's painting came closest to it. I admire her talent and insight. Hope the above was in her mind when she painted this "Eye".
